Description

Black and white photograph of Moxey Rigby, a graduate of Freeport High School, who was Nassau County's first African American judge. He was elected to the district court in 1959. He was also the vice chairman of the Freeport Housing Authority. In 1940 he was an assistant district attorney of Nassau County. He lived at 8 Gold Street.
