Bowers writes to Du Bois for a circular letter to the Fisk University Class of 1888 regarding her experiences since graduation. Bowers writes that she is teaching in public schools and since Edmonson resigned they are in need of at least one more teacher. Bowers wonders what prospects other classmates have of marriage, and states she will not enter the contract. Votes for Edmonson as secretary, and for Du Bois as president of the Class of 1888 Club.
