Description
Holograph, signed.R. Warren Weston writes: "The South are playing a desperate game of Brag & their game is about played out. The North stands up to the neck better than I had supposed she would. It looks now as tho' the South would cave & no secession after all." R. Warren Weston opposes attendance at a meeting called by Mayor Wood "to devise ways to save the Union."
