Holograph, signed with initials.William Lloyd Garrison went to Birkenhead to visit the Nosworthys. He is still suffering from stomach trouble. He describes the ride from Birkenhead to London. He lists a few of his expenses. He crossed the British Channel to Boulogne where he had difficulty in finding the railroad station. He went to Paris. The British and French trains go faster than American trains. William Lloyd Garrison met the Villards and Francis Jackson Garrison. Fanny Garrison Villard has not changed at all. William Lloyd Garrison is trying to remain incognito. He gives the names of his visitors. He called on Mr. and Mrs. Lewis. He heard that Mrs. Eliza Frances Jackson Eddy was sick. William L.
