Description
Fragments of performances by two unidentified African American gospel groups, possibly recorded for the television program Parade of Quartets. This is followed by the program Bobby Jones Gospel that is played on fast-forward. This is followed by another performance by an unidentified African American gospel group, and another gospel program, The Sensational Harris Bros. Much of this video is compromised, and after 54:43, the video completely breaks down. Parade of Quartets is a television program that has aired on WJBF-TV in Augusta, Georgia, from 1954 to the present, featuring African American gospel music, and appearances by both local and national African American political leaders.
