Description

Plat map of neighborhood between present-Meharry Medical College and Tennessee State University. The map was created for a sale of 150 lots. The large piece of property in the center is the approximate location of present day Pearl Cohn High School.Robert Marable and Lizzie Smith were indicted for devising and intending to debauch and corrupt the morals of the citizens of Davidson County by unlawfully keeping a "disorderly" and "ill-governed" house in Nashville.
