Smith, Evelina A. S

Description

Holograph, signed.Evelina A. S. Smith has learned that Caroline Weston did not return to her school at the close of vacation; she did not know of the anxiety caused by Lucia Weston's illness. Evelina A. S. Smith is willing to assist at the refreshment table at the fair if she is needed. A sewing circle is working in Hingham for the Boston fair. Mr. Philemon R. Russell gave a fine discourse on anti-slavery in Hingham's new town house, explaining sympathetically the position of the old organization. Mr. John Murray Spear had two meetings on capital punishment.
