Hough Branch 1907: Carnegie building exterior

Abram Garfield modeled Hough Branch's architecture after the British Building at the St. Louis Exposition which was inspired by Orangery at Kensington Palace, England. The Carnegie Hough Branch was described as a one storey brick building with stone trim. (Cleveland Public Library Annual Report 1907). Building Status: Library branch replaced by new building, 1984 (Building is African American Museum)
