Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in black ink on white stationery with the letterhead reading, "Fox Warren, Cobham." Above the salutation, the number "72" is written in pencil. Along the spine edge of the adjacent page, the phrase "Charles Buxton, M.P., Cobham, June 20, 1867" is also written in pencil, vertically.Charles Buxton writes to F.W. Chesson that he regrets he cannot attend "the Meeting in honor of Mr. Garrison". He asks Chesson to tell Garrison "how much I should have wished to be there" and he hopes that Garrison will stay in England long enough for him "to make his acquaintance".
