In 1895 her original Scotch marine boilers gave so much trouble they were removed and replaced with Western boilers. She sunk abreast of Buffalo Island, about 30 miles above Cairo on the Mississippi River, fall of 1899 and was raised. She ran in the Calhoun County, Illinois apple trade.
