Caption on back: "GIs [veterans of the U.S. armed forces] above have just completed a plane trip just completed a plane trip across; Ten to twelve planes arrive daily at the National Airport in Washington, D.C. from the West Coast with twelve or thirteen GIs [veterans of the U.S. armed forces] abroad; They represent over 70 percent of the passengers arriving from the West Coast by air; It is estimated that 21000 veterans will be flown East each month, 12/12/45.
