Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Manuscript addressed from "The Elms, Chapel Allerton, NE Leeds".Joseph Lupton writes that he has seen Elizabeth Pease Nichol, who informed him that she and others had arranged for Garrison to speak in Bradford on Friday, October 11, and to attend a temperance meeting in Bradford on October 15. Lupton inquires of Garrison if he would be able to join him in Leeds on the 12th and attend a meeting on the 14th called by the Freedman's Committee and assorted abolitionist friends.
