Description
Holograph, signed.Mary Weston begins this letter with a discussion of letters. She gives much news of the family. She mentions the death of Brinkley(?) Colson. She discusses various anti-slavery meetings in which Maria Weston Chapman attacked the clergy and the Sabbath. Maria W. Chapman thought the anti-slavery cause might have become too popular for William Lloyd Garrison.
