Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Manuscript addressed from "Observatory. Glasgow."Manuscript annotated on recto, with "Elizabeth Pease Nichol to W. L. Garrison." appearing on top-center margin, and "8" appearing in pencil on bottom-left margin of page.Elizabeth Pease Nichol informs William Lloyd Garrison that in spite of the interval between their last correspondence, she has followed reports of his labors with "the most sincere interest", and inquires if they might hope of seeing Garrison again in England. Nichol offers her thoughts on Parker Pillsbury, describing him as "too modest" to assert the true value of his own labors, and proclaiming that his meetings are a fruitful source of recruits and new adherents to the abolitionist cause.
