Membership card commemorating the fiftieth anniversary of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) in 1959 signed by treasurer Alfred Baker Lewis and issued to Miss A. Church of Washington, D.C. Membership dues for the year were five dollars and were contributed to the Washington, D.C. branch of the NAACP.The University of Tennessee Libraries (Knoxville, Tennessee) is the digital publisher.The Civil Rights Digital Library received support from a National Leadership Grant for Libraries awarded to the University of Georgia by the Institute of Museum and Library Services for the aggregation and enhancement of partner metadata.
