-24- of their sad experience. Peace and progress attract little attention in national news media which are such powerful forces in the molding of popular opinion. Perhaps it is only a reflection on human nature that conflict and social disruption are more demanding of the attention of those in control of radio and TV networks and the press. As Senators know so well when something goes wrong the news media are always eager to spread the most minute details. When something goes right they are usually not interested. Such has been the case with Little Rock. Today 123 Negro students attend formerly all white elementary, junior, and senior high schools in
