Description
Light comes through a window and a transom into shadowy Ollie's Pool Hall in Fruita, Colorado. Men, some holding cue sticks, pose in front of the three pool tables; a bench is on one side of the room, and chairs and a cast iron stove are on the other. The men wear moustaches, vests, ties, rolled-up dungarees or pants, sweaters, caps, and hats. A chalkboard on the wall reads: "If you are not 21 you cannot play. All nigger billiards by the hour. No credit - please settle after each game."
