The Black Community Construction Coalition picketed location where building of new nurses' home is underway demanding more jobs for blacks. A truck was blocked from entering and police used force when demonstrators resisted an attempt by 40 officers to open the roadways to traffic. No injuries were reported in the incident but 17 persons were arrested.Leo Tierney
