Description

Bob Binns Jr. was the Ohio High School Athletic Association singles tennis champion in 1968. He attended John Hay High School in Cleveland. He was also a star tennis player in college at Columbia University. Among his post-college activities, Binns was Head Pro at the Port Washington Tennis Academy in New York for almost 30 years, according to Dick Zausner, President of the Port Washington Tennis Academy. The academy helped develop Vitas Gerulaitis and John McEnroe, among others. Bob Binns Jr. is now retired in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, according to Zausner.
