Description

African American folk artist Son Thomas sculpts a duck at his home in Leland, Mississippi. Blind African American artist Hawkins Bolden displays some of his artwork at his home in Memphis, Tennessee. Mary Lou Furcron is interviewed at the log cabin home she built herself in Vesta, Georgia. She talks about her childhood, family, and growing cotton and vegetables. A tour of her cabin and surrounding area is given.
