Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Abraham Simons writes to Theodore Parker in regards to extending his communication to an African American, Edwara Lattimore who "goes by the name of Edwin Moore) who lives in Lowell under the Merrimack House that the slave Hunters are preparing to take him & that he must look out." He advises Parker to tell him to go to Canada "or try to settle with the master who says he owns him for he will be prisoner if he cannot be taken." He says he is doing all he can for the cause.
