Description

Holograph, signed.Henry Grafton Chapman does not feel a great impulse to leave Sunday to hear Henry Brewster Stanton and is not to be expected. He has tried to mend Maria Weston Chapman's "difficulty with Ann" [perhaps Ann Greene Chapman]. Ann [Terry?] Greene is slowly recovering. Henry Grafton Chapman dines at Chauncey Place every day and pays Caroline [Weston] a regular evening visit. Business is much improved. West Street is dull without Maria.
