From's, and its role in the African-American community. Born January 9, 1950, Allan From is one of two children born to Edith and Harry From of Union, South Carolina. From currently resides in Raleigh, North Carolina. Tom Crosby interviewed Allan From in Union, South Carolina, on October 11, 2009.
