Though the overwhelming majority of reports have to do with shootings, beatings, surveillance, and harassment, the highlights of this month (though only briefly mentioned) include Pete Seeger's visit; the discovery of the missing civil rights workers' bodies; the Freedom School Convention in Meridian; the unprovoked shooting of Silas McGhee; another bombing in McComb; and the MFDP's attempt to be seated at the Democratic National Convention.
