Description

Holograph, signed with initials.There has been intense heat, with the temperature being "94 in the shade." William Lloyd Garrison approves of the purchase of a lot of land in back of his house. Garrison is surprised that the Rev. Vibbert should ask Garrison to arrange for him (Vibbert) to lecture on temperance in England. William L. Garrison is thinking to buy a carriage for Mrs. Garrison. He mentions employing Ellen Dow as a companion for Mrs. Garrison. Lloyd Garrison wants to visit Rockledge again.
