Description

James McIntyre and Thomas Heath were famous for their long-running blackface minstrel comedy act between 1874 and 1924, in which Heath was the straight man. There were rumors that the two did not speak to each other when not on stage; however, this was disputed by McIntyre and Heath.Autograph on photo signed on December 20, 1917.PH Coll 569.145
