Description

Copies of two Boston City Council resolutions, introduced by Louise Day Hicks and adopted on March 21, 1977. The first resolution urges Judge W. Arthur Garrity and the Court to undertake a study on the impact of busing city-wide, in reaction to the resegretation of Robert Gould Shaw School in West Roxbury. The second resolution calls on Judge Garrity to watch a program on WGBH of Black Journal entitled 'Effectiveness of Busing for Integration Challenged.'
