Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.The folder includes an envelope addressed to "Mr. Garrison. 10 Dix Place Boston."Theodore Parker writes to William Lloyd Garrison telling him that if he likes "the enclosed letter to the Tribune well enough" (not included) the author would consent to it being printed in the Liberator. Parker says the author writes to him "now & then but I know him only by his own pen."
