He had no hair on top of his head Right where the wool ought to grow. Chorus: Lay down your shovel and your hoe, hoe, hoe. Hang up your fiddle and your bow, bow, bow. There's no more work for poor Uncle Ned. He's gone where the good negroes go. His fingers were long as the cane in the break. He had no eyes for to see. He had no teeth for to eat a corn cake, So he had to let a corn cake be. Sung by: RK.
