Description
Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Mary Anne Estlin writes to James Miller McKim regarding her father's health. She writes that her father is "less giddy & believable to take care of himself than for some previous days so he can despense with my reading more safely than on these former days & public things must get on as best they can till I am able to scribble again! You will not care much about hearing from me till after the Monday meeting." She writes that E. Matthews will call the next day to give him news. She writes that her father wants her to tell him that he thinks Mr. Ashurts would like to assist in the August 1st meeting, "either attending or contributing or both--if you were to apply to him. W.W. Brown thinks he did not treat him very cordially on some occasion, & he will not ask W.A. but my father fancies that as the coolness was explained & W.A. has a very good opinion of W.B. he would be glad of an opportunity of showing his friendliness." She writes that she has many letters to write Mr. Chamerovzow but they will have to wait. She desires him to visit and also says that she has a note from Miss Wigham for him.
