Description

Dial 900 society, 1992, 5010 11th Avenue (at 50th Street), by Ian White with about 10 art students of teacher Susan Curren. Crenshaw High School parking lot. Play on words and satire are used to illustrate some of the contradictions and social ills of our contemporary "900 number society". Sponsored by Museum of African Art and L.A. Cultural Affairs Department. -- Dunitz, Street gallery, rev. 2nd ed., p. 220, #53.
