Rodrigo, Antonio G.
Description
Details agreements made between the Cannery Workers and Farm Laborers Union and the canned salmon industry from Feb. 1 to May 4, 1937. Quote from document: "In one word we have established a precedent in the history in the industry, and the CWFLU will go down to posterity as one of the most militant fighting organized groups for having emancipated the workers in this particular industry from the shackled slavery and sweatshop peonage enforced by the doomed few--the contractors."
