Holograph, signedOn page one of this manuscript, there is a promissory note signed by William Lloyd Garrison and Isaac Knapp: "For value received, we jointly and severally promise to pay Isaac Winslow, on his order, the sum of Five Hundred Dollars, with interest, on demand."Pages two and three consist of Isaac Winslow's receipts: "February 25, 1839 Received one hundred dollars of Wm Lloyd Garrison. Wm Lloyd Garrison & Isaac Knapp." "4 m[onth] 11 [day] 1840 Received payment in full of W.L.G. [signed] I. Winslow." "Feb. 28, 1839. Received of Wm Lloyd Garrison the sum of one hundred dollars to be enclosed on a note signed by him & Isaac Knapp in my favour. [signed] Isaac Winslow."
