Description

At the State Capitol in Richmond, Va., the Virginia General Assembly is in the process of revising the Constitution of Virginia. A provision on poll taxes, which were outlawed by the Voting Rights Act of 1965, has been moving along in the legislative process. Delegate Jerry H. Geisler tells WSLS-TV that the study commission on this amendment recommends that it be deleted from the constitution and is certain that it will not have a place in the final revised version.
