This folder contains a wide variety of documents depicting SNCC's activities in the South in the early 1960s. Present in significant quantities, however, are items relating to Danville, Virginia; Americus, Georgia; and Little Rock, Arkansas. The folder's highlights include the "Outline for Projected Black Belt Program," a "Memorandum Regarding the Proposal for a 'Poor Peoples Land Corporation,'" and an opinion piece on the "Problems With SNCC's Internal Organization."
