New York Public Library
Description
Addressed to Franklin F. Hopper; pledging to help locate a suitable candidate for an opening in the Library staff; relaying that the librarian rejected by Ernestine Rose is having "great success in Atlanta," as substantiated by Mae C. Hawes, in her letter (see mums312-b061-i352); and regretting that "some of Mr. Schomburg's friends have gone to the Negro press with the situation."
