A history written by his granddaughter, Jackie T. Nielson in 1997. "We got a train out of Salt Lake into Delta, I'll never forget, it was noon, 1 o'clock, something' like that. And you were having' one of those cyclones. We got off the train and stood there and I never saw such a wind storm...Wind, why you couldn't even talk." This photo is titled "Sunday was wash day."
