Description
Holograph, signed "Your loving Father."William Lloyd Garrison writes to Wendell Phillips Garrison: "Your reasons for going to Watch Hill before coming to us are conclusive. We are rejoiced to learn that we shall have a fortnight of your vacation." Garrison hoped that Mrs. J. M. M'Kim could come to Rockledge as well. He praises Mrs. M'Kim's character. Garrison will write something in the memory of Richard Davis Webb to be inserted in the Independent. He wrote an article for the Independent criticizing Charles Sumner's attack on President Grant. Garrison wrote a letter to Samuel May Jr. about Horace Greeley and Charles Sumner. Marianne Mott died.
