Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript composed in brown ink on white stationery showing the image of the Manchester Athenaeum building on the first page. Beneath the building are the words, "Royal Institution & Athenaeum _ Manchester." In the head- spine corner of the first page a checkmark is drawn above the number "99", both in pencil.George Thompson writes to William Lloyd Garrison telling him of his "constant remembrance and unabated interest in all your movements." Thompson says that although he is ill, he "still strive[s] to accomplish" for the antislavery movement and if Garrison does not hear from him he "must not therefore conclude that my affection for your or my interest in the cause of abolition in the United States declines."
