Oh, brother, don't quit praying, praying, praying; Oh, brother, don't quit praying; goin' to f l y away to heaven by and by. Goin' to f l y away to heaven like a feather, etc. Oh, leader, don't quit praying, etc. Goin' to f l y away to heaven like a feather, etc. "You can imagine how that went.. .We were the greatest lovers of them. ..And some of our men sang tenor, just naturally, as some of us sing alto naturally; and some of 'em sang bass—like a trombone! Oh, i t would just be beautiful! To hear them sing it! They'd come into that interlude at "He arose, He arose."
