Description

As part of a Buffalo Forum, Canisius College invited Cleveland mayor, Carl B. Stokes, to speak on October 30, 1968 on the topic of "The City in Crisis." Other speakers of this Forum included Detroit's Mayor, Jerome P. Cavanagh as well as Chairman William R. Allen of Metropolitan Toronto. After his mayorship, Stokes would later serve as the US Ambassador to the Republic of Seychelles.
