Description

Holograph, signed.Abby Osgood offers sympathy on account of the illness of Mrs. Maria Weston Chapman. She tells about New Bedford people. Abby Osgood writes that "I find no Debora[h] in New Bedford---your place will always be unsupplied, ..." Abby Osgood describes the ordination services of her brother in Nashua. She tells Deborah Weston, who is so warm in the cause of temperance, that there was no wine at the ordination dinner, and that Samuel Osgood has given up the use of it. Deborah Weston's friends in New Bedford are "as warmly attached as ever."
