Front Picture Description: Black and white formal portrait of 2 boys. Powhatan ‘Powy’ & Sheridan ‘Sherry’ were the sons of Thomas Waldon, a barber in Richland Center. Sheridan was on the high school baseball team in 1907, and graduated from Richland Center High School in 1908. Front Print: “HILLMAN, WJH, RICHLAND CENTER, WIS.” Back Print: “County Room, brewer Library”. Back Writing: “p309-01”, “Powhatan & Sheridan Waldon - ‘Powy & Sherry’”, “Gift of Marcia Nobel, These two little Negro children went to the old White School – teacher Nellie Fries (Knobel) Mr Waldon – son-in-law of Mr Bowler – Both were barbers”.
