Holograph, signed.This letter is concerned with bills of lading and dates for the executive committee meetings, which must suit Maria Weston Chapman as well as Abby Kelly Foster. Samuel May asks if anyone in Weymouth would like to employ a sober, industrious man "for his board." The man, who was recommended by Mrs. Lydia Maria Child, has lived with Samuel May the past seven months. Samuel May is sending a "few words" for the Liberty Bell. [Samuel May wrote "The Voice of the Departed," a tribute to the late Rev. George Armstrong of Bristol, England, printed in the Liberty Bell for 1858, p. 320-324.]
