She thanks him for the paper he sent and writes her pleasure in meeting him and "Miss E.Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Boston Public Library (Rare Books Department) manuscript contains 2 separate sheets, one a letter from Harriet Martineau and the other is a note about Ellen Craft that says, "Ellen Craft: in the disguise in which she escaped from Macon in Georgia, U.States.
