Holograph, signedTitle devised by cataloger"[To R.D. Webb]" and "[1845]" was added on the manuscript in different ink and handwriting than those of the original letterFrederick Douglass asks R. D. Webb to send him 50 copies of ["A Narrative of the Life of Frederick Douglass, an American Slave"] so that he can sell them. He says he thinks it would be better to break his Birmingham engagement and go to Glasgow. He then talks about his upcoming engagements in Belfast
