It was postmarked on Mar. 16 in New YorkIt is stamped, "PHELPS MSS."In this letter to Amos A. Phelps, Lewis Tappan answers some questions from Phelps about a Presbyterian church, for which Phelps is being called as a pastor. In answering the questions, Tappan copies a letter from Mr. Duffield that explains the difference between Presbyterianism and Congregationalism
