Durham on January 21, 1988 includes discussion of experiences as an employee in the University of South Carolina treasurer's office, becoming USC's purchasing agent in 1954, director of Personnel in 1961, USC's first affirmative action officer in 1971, and retirement in 1978; some unusual job duties assigned to her from time to time, discrimination against women in various university positions, and her evaluation of the six presidents under whom she served.
