Description

Photograph of 10th Street in downtown Crisfield, Maryland. On the right is an African American couple walking along Tenth Street toward Main Street. To their right is a one-story corrugated metal building with Coca-Cola signs on its front wall and with the words Ward's Restaurant above the entrance. Next to it is a two-story unpainted wooden frame building that appears to be built over railroad tracks. At the intersection on the far side of the street is a stone or marble building with the letters Bank of Cris[field] in the pediment above the entrance. Tracks are embedded in the roadway, electric and telephone line run overhead, and a car is parked at the intersection.
