Description
Holograph, signed.Title devised by cataloger.Richard Davis Webb writes to Mary Anne Estlin in regards to not saying anything more about Miller McKim in the advocate. He will try to get the statistics W. Armistead asked for, specifically the population of the Irish people before and after the famine. He doubts their accuracy. He writes of his contract for county printing. After completing this work, he printed and sent out the anti-slavery advocate. He will immediately print 500 copies of the Bazaar. Page 3 and 4 of this letter do not seem to follow the train of thought from page 1 & 2. The top of the page says "From Mr. Webb" and he praises Wendell Phillips' speech at the New England convention. His house is filled with abolitionists to see the National Exhibition.
